SLING Broadband
Sling Broadband delivers its integrated services over a wholly owned network. Within each market, Sling Broadband builds multiple broadcast sites which provide broadband data, telephone and networking service for its customers. Sling Broadband base stations broadcast and receive data through Access Points, which are typically located atop broadcast towers to ensure maximum range. The signal is received by Subscriber Units (SUs) – at the customer's place of business. Each broadcast site covers up to a Twenty five-mile radius, approximately 1963 square miles of coverage.
